The wall must be clean, dry, smooth and dust-free. Remove dust and dirt with a dry, lint-free cloth. Freshly painted walls must dry out completely – wait at least 2–3 weeks after painting. The surface temperature should be around 15–25 °C.

First lay the design out on a flat surface. Hold it up to the desired spot and check the position from a short distance. If needed, mark lightly with a pencil or use masking tape as a guide. Make sure the design sits straight and has enough space from edges and furniture.

With large designs, it's best to work in pairs. Peel off the backing film slowly and piece by piece while aligning the design on the wall. Gradually press the exposed area down with a soft squeegee or cloth, working from the center outwards. Do not pull the backing film off abruptly.

Gently smooth out small air bubbles with your finger or a soft cloth, working from the center outwards. Work slowly and without much pressure so the design is not stretched or damaged. Very small bubbles often disappear on their own over time.

On freshly painted, sensitive or textured surfaces, adhesion may be limited or paint may come off when the decal is removed. Test the wall decal on an inconspicuous spot first. Do not apply it to crumbly, damp or heavily textured plaster. If in doubt, we recommend checking whether the surface is suitable beforehand.

Slowly lift the design at one corner and peel it off the wall as flat and carefully as possible. If needed, you can warm it slightly with a hairdryer on a low heat setting so the adhesive releases more easily. Keep the hairdryer moving and at a sufficient distance. Never pull abruptly – especially on sensitive or older paintwork.
